Grammy nominated musician Ann Allen Savoy is a native of Richmond, Virginia. In addition to singing and performing on guitar with Marc, she is the foremost historian of the music, and her book, Cajun Music: A Reflection of a People is considered the definitive study.

 

This special Folk Week event is a fund-raiser for the Anchorage Folk Festival.
