The Anchorage Folk Festival is a nonprofit organization that runs the annual folk festival and much more! As a free, public event it provides opportunities for you to perform, attend workshops and jam sessions, or just enjoy the festival at absolutely no charge!

Organizing this event requires hall rental, guests artists' fees, transportation, insurance, and sound engineering. We also support, encourage and promote music and dance through performance and education.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP DOLLARS MAKE IT HAPPEN!

We depend primarily on our member fees to help produce the annual Festival, our newsletter, and keep activities going all year. Your annual $25 membership fee is a small, affordable, but very important way you can say “yes” to keeping folk music and dance alive in our community.
