The Anchorage Folk Festival, Inc. is a nonprofit member-supported volunteer organization that runs the annual folk festival and much more! Our goal is to support, encourage and promote music and dance through performance and education. As a free, public annual event, the festival provides opportunities to perform, attend workshops and jam sessions, or just enjoy the festival at absolutely no charge!

Organizing this event requires venue rentals, guests artists’ fees, transportation & hospitality, advertising, programs & merchandise, insurance, piano tuning, and sound engineering.
