If you submit an application to perform, teach, or participate in the festival, we collect the information that you provide in our forms in order to contact you. This information is used and stored for that purpose and is not shared with any third party. We also collect the date and time of submission and the IP address from which you submitted the information. This information is used by our website to detect spam and other attacks and not for other purposes. Data submitted via these forms may be retained to contact you for marketing purposes unless and until you ‘opt out’ via Constant Contact or by other contact methods provided on this site.

If you submit a donation through our website, we collect the information that you provide in order to contact you and to thank you (unless you request an anonymous donation). The software that supports this process also collects transaction information necessary to complete your donation. This information is not retained on our servers but is used and retained according to the privacy policies of those sites (PayPal, Square, etc.) in order to process the transaction.

Payments on this site are processed by Square or PayPal. Data provided to them is necessary to complete your transaction and is used and retained according to their privacy policies. Please contact them should you need additional information.

How long we retain your data

Contact information for advertising and marketing purposes is retained until you ask us to stop telling you about our fun. Customer purchase records are retained long enough to verify the transaction and complete appropriate accounting and tax records. We do not retain credit card or account numbers.

What rights you have over your data

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. Volunteers will respond to any requests as promptly and thoroughly as they are able. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We don’t know much about European Union privacy requirements or data protection standards. If you’re using our site from the EU and have concerns, welcome! We will try to be of assistance if you share them with us.
