On March 26, at 7pm, in celebration of Women’s History Month, the Anchorage Folk Festival will host a
live stream concert showcasing some amazing Alaskan artists – Whitney Youngman, Pipeline Vocal
Project, and Bethlehem Shalom. Tune into FB, YouTube or visit our webpage to view the live show.
Whitney Youngman is a guitarist and vocalist performing around Anchorage since February 2014. Born and
raised in Arizona, Witty began performing during her college years in Lawrence, Kansas, before
relocating to Anchorage to live full-time. She is a descendant of King Island Inupiat and an enrolled
member of the Fort Peck Dakota tribe.
Pipeline Vocal Project is a vocal trio that performs a contemporary show with a throwback vibe.
Performing top hits from all eras with a unique twist- you will be entertained with clever arrangements,
amazing harmonies, and a soundscape of a band coming from only three voices. Since their inception in
2019, Pipeline Vocal Project has been breaking down barriers by being one of the only groups of its kind
in the nation. Their diverse makeup, artistic vocal arrangements and high energy performance has lead
them to headline the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival in 2021, become Grand Champions of the 2021
Great Alaska Talent Competition, gain over 300K followers online and perform at the 2020 World Expo
in Dubai, to name a few.
